Bay Area Vegetarians (BAVeg) is a San Francisco Bay Area wide group for vegan, vegetarian and animal rights folks to connect and find support with like-minded folks. We invite you to be an active part of our community.
We're open to new leaders and volunteers to help us promote compassion to animals and veganism. If you've got a wonderful idea, we want to hear from you! Don't be shy, and don't worry if you've never done it before, as that's true for many of us.
We are a 100% volunteer, no fees, plant-powered organization with over 4,000 members throughout the Bay Area and beyond.

"Some of the delicious dishes are vegetarian samusa soup, tea leaf salad (request vegetarian), curry vegetables, and Burmese style yellow bean fried rice (request no egg if vegan). The service is good, and the ambiance is nice. It is right in the busy downtown area and can get crowded."
