Bay Area Vegetarians (BAVeg) is a San Francisco Bay Area wide group for vegan, vegetarian and animal rights folks to connect and find support with like-minded folks. We invite you to be an active part of our community.
We're open to new leaders and volunteers to help us promote compassion to animals and veganism. If you've got a wonderful idea, we want to hear from you! Don't be shy, and don't worry if you've never done it before, as that's true for many of us.
We are a 100% volunteer, no fees, plant-powered organization with over 4,000 members throughout the Bay Area and beyond.

"Lunch/dinner vegetarian self serve is very vegan friendly. Both entrees, all veges, 2 or 3 starches were vegan; only the filo/spinach thingies were vegetarian. Salad bar is also mostly vegan. All vegan items are noted, all ingredients are listed and what is organic is marked. Seating available in back or front. $9/lb, except $4/lb brown rice if put in separate container. $7.50/lb for breakfast."
