Bay Area Vegetarians (BAVeg) is a San Francisco Bay Area wide group for vegan, vegetarian and animal rights folks to connect and find support with like-minded folks. We invite you to be an active part of our community.
We're open to new leaders and volunteers to help us promote compassion to animals and veganism. If you've got a wonderful idea, we want to hear from you! Don't be shy, and don't worry if you've never done it before, as that's true for many of us.
We are a 100% volunteer, no fees, plant-powered organization with over 4,000 members throughout the Bay Area and beyond.

"This is probably the best vegan restaurant in Sunnyvale/Santa Clara area. It has a great atmosphere, the Vietnamese fusion food is tasty, and though the prices are pretty low, it has an upscale feel. I took several of my omnivore coworkers and friends there and everybody liked the food. Some dishes I would recommend are pho, drum sticks, and lotus salad. Also, be sure to try the cakes."
