Bay Area Vegetarians (BAVeg) is a San Francisco Bay Area wide group for vegan, vegetarian and animal rights folks to connect and find support with like-minded folks. We invite you to be an active part of our community.
We're open to new leaders and volunteers to help us promote compassion to animals and veganism. If you've got a wonderful idea, we want to hear from you! Don't be shy, and don't worry if you've never done it before, as that's true for many of us.
We are a 100% volunteer, no fees, plant-powered organization with over 4,000 members throughout the Bay Area and beyond.

"Wonderful food, great atmosphere. I had the vegan spring rolls with delicious sauce and the Utama Basil Snap Peas with shiitake mushroom, tofu & red onion in Chef's basil sauce. For dessert, I had the incredible Mango ice cream in caramel sauce. It's a very busy restaurant, so expect to wait 10-15 minutes, unless you make a reservation. Oliver, the owner, is friendly and very accommodating."
