Food is great, service is great, prices are high but reasonable considering quality of ingredients and preparation. The day I had lunch there, there was one vegan dessert available and several vegan options in the other sections of the menu. Many marked vegetarian items can be made vegan. Both are clearly marked. This is a great place to show your omnivore friends how good veg*n food can be. | Reviews: 133 |

I was completely underwhelmed by Ubuntu. Tastefully decorated w/ tall ceilings, exposed beams & heating ducts, airy and light. Has a huge wine selection. Then it's all downhill. Baby romaine & artichoke hearts salad w/ all yellow leaves, chef denied lettuce was old; fennel tomato pizza was just an oily cracker with tasteless topping. Disclosure: they comped my meal due to my dissatisfaction. | Vegan Living Reviews: 95 |

The produce is fresh and the preparations are clean, allowing the flavor of the main ingredients to really shine. On the night we went there were plenty of vegan starters and cold plates as well as a few vegan (or vegan minus the diary ingredients) options for hot plates. If the prices weren't so steep I'd give them an extra half star, but $12 for a big cracker topped with arugula is a bit much. | Reviews: 9 |
