I've been here about 4 times now. Both locations are enjoying a lot of popularity. I've tried everything that can be veganized and I'm sad to say it's all been mundane. Rice is watery, plantains are oily, beans are overcooked. The best thing about this place is the vinegar based hot sauce which I've drowned my food with trying to make it worth eating. Only recmnded for eating with nonveg people | mirrorangle Reviews: 2 |

Fast serivice, friendly staff, delicious food that is always fresh. Ask they have coconut milk pudding. They just set up more tables outside. We've been five times so far! Update: They have now opened a full-size restaurant just one block away from this lunch counter location on Lincoln at Third st. | PikkuMyy Reviews: 30 |

Tiny, tropical cafe; fun to hang out on a hot day if you can get a seat. Love the vegan combo. Mashed, fried plantain patties are addictive. | kitzcatzhatz Reviews: 20 |

Puerto Rican food is rarely vegan friendly, but this little joint is a welcome exception. Their (all vegan) vegetarian plate is a tasty combo of pink beans with rice, greens, avocado and plantains. | ![]() Reviews: 9 |
