| Sol Food | I've been here about 4 times now. Both locations are enjoying a lot of popularity. I've tried everything that can be veganized and I'm sad to say it's all been mundane. Rice is watery, plantains are oily, beans are overcooked. The best thing about this place is the vinegar based hot sauce which I've drowned my food with trying to make it worth eating. Only recmnded for eating with nonveg people  | 2007-03-17 | | Slice Of Life | Visited Slice Of Life for the first time last weekend. Vegan Cheese pizza was incredible! I will be happy to save commute costs from San Rafael, not always needing to go to Panhandle for pizza cravings. Also had a Ruben sandwich that was not too thoughtfully prepared, blandish and crumbly with a side/pile of stale tortilla chips.
