Notes: While the exterior is plain, it's a vegetarian mecca inside -- breakfast foods include tofu scrambles, breakfast burrito, pancakes; special brunch menu on weekends. 4 out of 5 stars Visited Slice Of Life for the first time last weekend. Vegan Cheese pizza was incredible! I will be happy to save commute costs from San Rafael, not always needing to go to Panhandle for pizza cravings. Also had a Ruben sandwich that was not too thoughtfully prepared, blandish and crumbly with a side/pile of stale tortilla chips. Milkshakes were excellent though, as was the service. mirrorangle

5 out of 5 stars This place is awesome! They are now open for breakfast & have tofu omelettes that are great. Much better service than before-owner Dave came & talked to us at length. My favorite restaurant! kittykris
