|THIS PLACE IS NOW CLOSED. ANOTHER INDIAN RESTAURANT BY THE SAME OWNERS IS THERE NOW. Please see entry for "Punjabi by Nature" which I will add shortly. PRIOR REVIEW..Yes they have $1 food items, but you get what you pay for quality wise. It is nice that you can get a small beer for $1. For fast food it's OK (just), but I would never bring my friends here with so many Indian choices in Berkeley||greg
|This is the next best thing to an all you can eat Indian buffet. Each one dollar order is small, but with 3 entrees, rice, chapati bread, and a draft beer, the check comes in under $6.75. The vegan entrees include potato cauliflower, potato spinach, garbanzo, black or yellow dal, mixed vegetables. Mild to medium spice levels. Not an outstanding meal, but I had no complaints and was satisfied.||Vegan Living
