Original Event Notes:
Vegan Dinner at Merit Vegetarian
548 Lawrence Expressway #2 (Titan Way), Sunnyvale
Gather at 6 pm, order at 6:15 pm
Please join us for dinner at one of our favorite restaurants in the Bay Area, Merit Vegetarian. We'll order off the menu, and share dishes family style. This is a great way to try a variety of foods all at one time.
At the end of the dinner, we'll have a re-gift exchange. Please bring a gift if you'd like to participate.
About the restaurant: Merit has a variety of dishes, with faux meats, with tofu, or vegetables. All dishes are seasoned well, some are spicy, all are tasty. The lemongrass tofu and the sesame eggplant are two of our favorite dishes at Merit. The photos below are for a review that I did in my blog earlier this year.
About the Re-Gift Exchange: Got a new or like-new item that you don't need or want, but someone else may? Then it may be perfect for our re-gift exchange! Everyone who brings a present will get an opportunity to pick from the "pool" of gifts, or to "steal" a gift already opened. The approx. value of the re-gift should be $10-$15.
Please bring your gift wrapped. It should be:
-vegan
-Following the REcycle, REuse, REduce theme, please do not buy a new present or use new wrapping materials. For wrapping, a creative solution is to use newspaper or paper bag or some other material to wrap your REgift.
-This is all for fun, but please don't bring anything too expensive nor too tacky. And you could literally go home with a white elephant! The re-gift is optional to participate.
