We have some wonderful events happening in the next few weeks, including the start of college leafleting on Monday, kickoff for our new knitting group on Thursday, and my favorite event - our Vegan Food Party (VFP) next Saturday (always the 4th Saturday). Please RSVP for the location of the VFP. And if you can host us for September, please let me know.

Anyone getting ready to plant a fall vegetable garden? Many of us were inspired by our lovely tour of Paul and Kathleen's bountiful garden at our July VFP. In between eating and socializing, we managed to capture some moments; you can see them here

And, of course, we have to mention that Sonoma County VegFest is this Saturday! It's a full day of vegan food, vendors, and connecting with the community at large.

We've "adopted" Napa Valley College, Solano Community College, and Diablo Valley College for college outreach, and will leaflet at each school four times this semester, starting Monday.
