Notes: The Cerrito Speakeasy is a movie theater showing first-run movies and cult movie classics. Their concession stand sells alcohol, typical bar food, and more substantial food, like pizzas, salads, and veggie burgers. Their pizza dough is vegan (though with refined sugar), and they have a vegan ricotta that they will put on pizza, burgers, or pita sandwiches. Their online menu has vegan and vegetarian items prominently marked.

4 out of 5 stars The Cerrito Speakeasy is no Millennium--it's a movie theater after all. However, there are a lot of vegan options, and eating vegan pizza while at the movies can't be beat. The vegan ricotta on the pizza is quite good, and they pile it on. I gave them a 4 mostly because I appreciated the fact that they mark vegan items so prominently on their menu and because the staff was so helpful. Salena
