Original Event Notes: We will be doing outreach at the Vallejo Farmer's Market in downtown Vallejo (intersection of Georgia and Marin streets).
Please swing by to say hello and pick up some lit for yourself or a friend.
Volunteers welcome. No experience required. It's as easy as
- smiling
- holding a leaflet
- saying hello
FYI, if rain or poor air quality is forecast, leafleting will be canceled. Please RSVP with a tel number where you can be reached.
We are using the BAAQMD Air Quality monitor. Leafleting only when status is GREEN (Good) for Vallejo. You can check by going to this link and selecting "view data" under "AIR QUALITY INDEX". Then look for "VALLEJO" (top section - Northern Zone - 4th line)
Interested people then take a leaflet, and learn how animals are treated in confined animal feeding operations (factory farms), as well as the compassionate and delicious 100% plant-based food choices that exist. They often stop and read it on the spot! Like these people below did during Vallejo Farmer's Markets earlier...
