Original Event Notes: Our ANIMAL LOVERS BOOK CLUB is reading nonfiction vegan and animal rights topics, and the occasional fiction story that has a vegan theme.
There's some wonderful books out there. If you'd like to read more books (and enjoy vegan food during the discussions), then maybe this is the book club for you!
We are reading Esther the Wonder Pig this month.
FOOD: Attendees are invited to participate in our salad bar potluck. Salad greens and dressing will be provided
Attendees are asked to bring two different salad ingredients, with enough to share for 6 people. This will assure we have a beautiful salad bar experience with diverse ingredients.
Suggestions for ingredients: walnuts, beans (chickpeas, kidney beans, lentils, etc), vegetables (carrots, beets, radishes, onions, corn, broccoli, etc), or fruit (ready to eat, such as berries, apple, oranges, etc)
Please bring a serving utensil for each item you're sharing, as well as a personal beverage/bowl/utensil for your individual use
