RSVP: Book Club: EAT TO LIVE by Dr. Joel Fuhrman - Vallejo - 01/28/16

Original Event Notes: GOT BOOKS?

We are starting a book club that will read nonfiction vegan and animal rights topics, and the occasional fiction story that has a vegan theme.

There's some wonderful books out there. If you'd like to read more books (and enjoy vegan food during the discussions), then maybe this is the book club for you!

This month, our featured selection will help you start the New Year right!

Eat To Live

by Dr. Joel Fuhrman (Online PDF found by an alert member)

In this #1 New York Times best seller, Dr. Fuhrman outlines his eating style, centered around his scientific health equation H=N/C (health = nutrients/calories) and offers a precise six‐week plan designed for rapid and permanent weight loss. Understanding his concept of toxic hunger is a critical element enabling people to end their addictive drive to overeat. Food addictions can be conquered by focusing on the quality of the calories, not the quantity. Dr. Fuhrman invites readers not only to realize dramatic weight loss (without counting calories or portions) but to experience an energizing and healing transformation. The results will amaze you and help keep you focused as your cholesterol, triglycerides, and blood pressure come down and headaches, gastritis, indigestion, and nasal congestion disappear.

This book is available in the public library, as well as through our local and vegan-owned bookstore, Vallejo Bookstore. A link to an online PDF posted above, and here is our Amazon affiliate link if you'd like to purchase a have a few cents benefit us - Eat to Live
