Let's show our support for the ducks and the decision by Attorney General Kamala Harris to fight and reinstate California's foie gras ban. There are many protests being organized at restaurants promoting foie gras. This particular request is for La Toque in Napa, CA. Chef Ken Frank has been an outspoken proponent for foie gras. Animal Place-Rescue Ranch is looking for volunteers, so if you have ever wanted to help make a difference this is a great opportunity and your help is very much needed. Around 1,500 hens were rescued just recently and we need help with a variety of tasks, such as: health checks, feeds/waters, de-clumping in the evening....so many ways to help the animals.
