I was in Palo Alto just yesterday, ready to head on over to Bayleaf to check them out. When I arrived I was met with an out of business sale. A sign was posted on the door saying our last meal will be served on Sunday the 16th. Bummer I never got to try the place.
Reading farther down the message, it said that the people who owned the place would be happy to talk with anyone who is looking to open a restaurant in that location and it would be nice if that person could also assist with hiring some of there displaced employees.
Well the problem is they never laft any contact information. I am interested in opening a restaurant in that location. If anyone knows how to contact those folks, please either forward my contact info below to them or send them my way. It would be greatly appreciated.
Warm Regards,

Hi James
You missed a special restaurant very dear to many members of the local vegetarian community. Bay Area Veg volunteers have hosted a monthly dinner there since Feb 2004 and enjoyed a lot of good food and veg fellowship over the course of those dinners.....
BayLeaf Cafe has a website, and you should try contacting them through their email listed there.
http://www.thebayleafcafe.com/contacts.html
If you subscribe to our monthly e-newsletter, we do veg restaurant updates every month, and also have a blog/rss feed available if you want notification on a more current basis. See our website at http://bayareaveg.org and you can find the current newsletter at

Cheers,
Tammy |
