As a person who loves and appreciates wildlife, I find it inappropriate and inhumane to exterminate the squirrels mentioned in this article. This problem was caused by humans because they fed the squirrels. Killing squirrels in a public park is not the answer. If the squirrels must be removed, a solution like moving them to a wildlife area would be far more humane. Killing squirrels due to bad human behavior is not fair to these animals. We must respect nature and our animal friends. I urge you to take action regarding this matter.

I have sent emails to PETA, IDA, and the mayor of Mountain View. I hope other animal lovers will take the time to contact the organizations I have mentioned, Mtn. View city officials, or others who can help find a humane solution to this problem.
