hey,

where can i get good, *cheap*, vegan shoes (chuck-s lookalike). i'm from germany and staying in oakland for 3 months.

have you tried payless shoes? they typically have vegan (vinyl) shoes that are pretty inexpensive. i've bought several pairs there and they've lasted pretty good for me.

there is also an all vegan shoe store in SF called "otsu". i've heard its good but pricey.

I used to get vegetarian shoes/belts at Otsu in San Francisco. I called in August 2006, and while the store is still open, they no longer sell shoes and belts.
