|Frozen bananas are the perfect base for fruit smoothies and just about any combination is yummy. My latest favorite is peanut butter banana.
I buy a bunch of bananas and invariably I won't eat them all before they go spotty. And once they go spotty, they are too sweet for me. So I let them get really spotty, then I cut them into chunks and freeze them. Or, maybe your grocery store offers spotty bananas at a discount.
This isn't an exact recipe but it should give you an idea of proportion and you can have fun experimenting. A blender is required.
For two people:
1 cup water
1 cup organic plain soymilk
3-4 Frozen Bananas (depends on your desired consistency), in chunks
Use a tablespoon and add two big dollops of creamy organic peanut butter
Blend until smooth
Hope you like it
