Leather shoes/clothes

Hi,

I recently became a vegan, and I am wondering what should I do with leather shoes/clothes/accessories that I still have.
What would you recommend, just to throw them away, burn, donate, ...?

Hi Lena,

Congrats on your recent decision to go vegan!

If you feel uncomfortable continuing to wear the items, and can afford to replace them, I would suggest giving them away to charity, or else to a friend with an explanation as to why. (Maybe it will even start them thinking about the issues too!)

The environmentalist in me does not like the idea of throwing them out (unless they are worn out) or burning them (think of the smell...)
