Food & atmoshere both superb! Sunflower burger, side of kale/seaweed salad, carrot juice with lime and ginger, then a vegan chocolate shake afterwards. All raw of course. Alot to be grateful for here!
In my book, Veg Gourmet rates right up there with the best of the vegetarian chinese places in the bay area. I particularly enjoyed the Curry "Chicken", Szechuan Chow Mein, and Chen Pi (Orange) "Beef"
Regular ice cream is now totally forgotten. Peanut Butter Palooka and Chocolate Cardamon are my current favorites. The price for a small scoop (@2.75) is too expensive, but that's my only complaint.
I'm going in to talk to them about the whole milk in the "vegan" pizza controversary. There's no reason for milk in pizza crust!! That indian pizza was soo good! Get rid of the milk!!
