They use Follow Your Heart cheeses and Yves faux meats. They also have free delivery, so all the homebodies can still patronize them. We can thank Aaron for veganizing this place. They have a set meal every day, which consists of a soup, salad, starch dish and two sides. You order based on the amount you'd like to be served, so $11 would get you the full meal, $9 med and $7 small meal. Their bakery is amazing. They use unrefined sugar, so everything is truly vegan. Bring your own tupperware and order to go. | 2006-07-31 | | Vegetarian Gourmet | I took an order of the Tofu Rolls, Curry Vegetable Chicken, Chen Pi and brown rice to a non-veg BBQ. The food was a big hit amongst the non-veg guests. They commented on how good the texture and flavor of the Chen Pi was, and they all went back for seconds, instead of eating the real meat. Remarkable! The owners of Veg Gourmet were very nice and helpful and I'll definitely go back. | 2006-07-25 | | Lanesplitter Pizza | good, cheap food and very vegan friendly! the not-a-ricotta is yummy. i recommend the vegan calzone, but if you're not a huge fan of semi-cooked onions, then tell them to leave them out and order it with spinach and mushrooms, instead. i ordered the eggplant bake once, but wasn't so happy to see that there were more cloves of garlic than actual eggplant.  | 2006-07-23 | | Mimosa Cafe | i highly recommend the vegetable stir fry w/ tofu. i haven't tried anything else on the menu, yet, because i keep ordering the same dish. they give very generous servings. the cafe is set back from the sidewalk, a little out of sight. please patronize them as they're very vegan friendly and nice.  | 2006-07-23 | |
