Medicine New-Shojin Eatstation Very unique japanese food. Their seitan is flown in from Kyoto weekly. Impressive zen like, yet New Yorkish atmosphere. I'm defeinitely coming back. Pricey though... 4.5 stars 2006-02-03
Flea Street Cafe I called Flea St. in advance to see what veggie options they had. They only had 1 broiled vegetable dish as an entree, although their website listed more. Disappointed, I cancelled my reservation. 2 stars 2006-02-03
Manzanita Restaurant Don't be scared by the exterior, the food is super fresh, organic and excellent value. Unfortunately, not many people know about it, and it's a great find especially in the East Bay. 5 stars 2005-02-09
Supreme Vegan Drab exterior, but the food is very tasty, especially the BBQ seitan. All vegan, friendly service. 4 stars 2005-02-09
Harvest Urban Market Their cafe is a surprising find for veggies. Their salad bar is good--soy nuggets, bbq soy, and other things you wouldn't find elsewhere. The location isn't the best, though the market is nice and new 4 stars 2005-02-09
Ananda Fuara I think this place is overhyped. Its food is not bad, good service, but the taste and freshness of the food weren't spectacular. I think there are plenty of other places in the city. 3 stars 2005-02-09
