We will be doing outreach at the Vallejo Farmer's Market in downtown Vallejo (intersection of Georgia and Marin streets).
This event is normally on the 2nd Saturday, but for Feb only, it's been moved to the 3rd Saturday to avoid conflicting with another local outreach event.
Please swing by to say hello and pick up some lit for yourself or a friend.

Volunteers welcome. No experience required. It's as easy as

  • smiling
  • holding a leaflet
  • saying hello

Please RSVP with a tel number where you can be reached; if rain or poor air quality is forecast, leafleting will be canceled.

Interested people then take a leaflet, and learn how animals are treated in confined animal feeding operations (factory farms), as well as the compassionate and delicious 100% plant-based food choices that exist. They often stop and read it on the spot! Like these people below did during Vallejo Farmer's Markets earlier...

Why RSVP?

RSVPs are requested for some events. This is typically the case when the event is held at a private home, if there is a limit on the number of participating, or the event organizer needs to know how many folks to expect. To RSVP, simply contact the event host by clicking on their name to send an email to them.

Public Transit and Carpooling

Plan your trip with this handy public transit tool from 511.org. Or use the main BAV mailing list (SFBAVEG) or forum to arrange a carpool.

For all events posted

You agree to participate at your own risk and expressly waive any and all liability on the part of Bay Area Vegetarians, its volunteers and its management.
