However, when I designate an hour or 2 per month just to write letters, I get a lot written and I get to reward myself with yummy ice cream and good company. =0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0AJoin Bay Area Vegetarians as we write letters to the editor, letters to state, county, and federal legislators and officials encouraging compassion to animals, etc.  We will be a voice for the voiceless with our personal, handwritten, high-impact letters.  This is a monthly event usually on the 4th Saturday.=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0ANew activists are encouraged to attend!=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0AIt's helpful if you can also bring:=0D=0A=0D=0A-pen and paper=0D=0A=0D=0A-envelopes=0D=0A=0D=0A-name of your State Assemblyperson and Senator (click here to find out)=0D=0A=0D=0A-name of your federal legislators too (click here=0D=0A=0D=0A-veg or animal rights topics to write on, or use the ones we provide.=0D=0A=0D=0AWe will be meeting at the BayLeaf Cafe, a charming and all vegan/organic cafe in downtown Palo Alto.
