Yes, there is big grassy area and a Lake.  FYI, the park is open to dogs if they're on a leash.=0D=0A=0D=0AMeet at the Broadway Terrace end of the lake.  Look for the green sun tent/canopy.  Please see VFP guidelines for more details on what to bring. Basically, a vegan dish that generously provides for 6 people and whatever you need to eat and serve your dish with.=0D=0A=0D=0AThere is parking at both ends of this lake, but there is a $4 charge.  However, off Broadway Terr. you can park on street in neighborhood and walk down to lake.  You may also park at Broadway end of lake which will require about half mile walk to get to our picnic area.  There is swimming allowed on Broadway end for charge of $3.00. =0D=0A=0D=0ATemescal can be reached from Hwy 24 or from Hwy 13 Broadway Terr. exit.
