The summer pignic will be held Saturday, June 12th, at Animal Place, a sanctuary for farmed animals in Vacaville (just 50 mi. east of SF off hwy. 80).  It will be vegan pignic food (burgers & dogs, and more!), with potato salad and dessert provided by Sparks Restaurant. =0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0AActivities at this special event include=0D=0A=0D=0A-Meet the critters at Animal Place=0D=0A=0D=0A-Feed the animals =0D=0A=0D=0A-Feed the humans  (vegan pignic lunch included) =0D=0A=0D=0A-Learn more about Viva!USA with lauren=0D=0A=0D=0A-Hear the animals' stories with Kim  Sturla, co-founder & director of Animal Place =0D=0A=0D=0A-Enjoy and share a beautiful day outdoors with like-minded folks and our animal friends =0D=0A=0D=0A-Fun games & more!=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0AThis event is being hosted by Animal Place and Bay Area Vegetarians as a 100% fundraiser for Viva!USA -- I hope you will join us in supporting one of the best organizations working for the animals.
