Our picnic site (called "Camp Bay") will be a great big lawn area, in a private and very pretty setting.  Ideal for frisbee for humans and canine friends!  There is a creek nearby as well as  a children's play area and a horseshot pit.   Children and dogs are welcome! =0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0AWe would like to make this a brunch picnic. Pancakes and fresh fruit will be served! Please mark this date on your calendar and plan on joining us with a delicious vegan meal to share! We hope to have a big turn-out and meet many new friends!=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0AAlvarado Park is very easy to find, off Highway 80. Once you reach the park, we will have signs up pointing the way. =0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0ADirections to the park:=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A>From Berkeley: take 80 N to Richmond and get off at Solano Ave exit  Turn left onto Amador st and stay on this street (it parallels the freeway- north). Go two stop signs and then turn right onto McBryde Ave. Stay in left lane til you come to a stop sign which is opposite the stone pillar pedestrian entrance to Alvarado Park/Wildcat Canyon. Look for parking along the street and then walk back to the entrance.=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A>From N. of Richmond: take the San Pablo Ave/McBryde Ave exit.  Turn Left on McBryde Ave. Go straight after the first stop sign. Stay in left lane til you come to a stop sign which is opposite the stone pillar pedestrian entrance to Alvarado Park/Wildcat Canyon.
