For those who have been to past gatherings, you know how much fun we've had sharing recipes and acting as test subjects for new culinary trials.  The event host also usually organize some kind of fun group activity for all to socialize.=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0ASo, Yin-Yin and I are inviting you to come to our Sunnyvale=0D=0A=0D=0Ahome for our first VFP event.  We haven't had the chance to=0D=0A=0D=0Atry out new dishes in a while, so this gives us an incentive=0D=0A=0D=0Ato do so.  In addition to the potluck, we will put together=0D=0A=0D=0Aa slideshow to showcase some of our outdoor trips from the=0D=0A=0D=0Apast year.=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0AHere are some important notes about our event:=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A1. We have two cats: one short-hair black Siamese mix (Monty) and one big, long-haired orange Tabby (Pigby).  Despite our efforts at cleaning the house and running the air purifier, people who are extremely allergic may still have reactions, so please beware.=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A2. We have found it difficult to heat a not-so-well-insulated house comfortably all the time, so, even though we'll have our fireplace burning, it would be wise to bring a sweater or light jacket along just in case.=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A3. The party starts at 2pm and the munching commences around=0D=0A=0D=0A2:30pm.  At around 4:30pm we will start the slideshow, which=0D=0A=0D=0Awill go on for about 1 1/2 hours.=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A4. While we like to meet as many people as possible, specially new faces, it would be a challenge to host more than 20 people, so please RSVP if you'd like to come.  Send your RSVP with the # of people that will come and, if you have an idea, what type of dish you are planning to bring.
