If you are knowledgeable about the above issues and would like to participate, please let us know.  A commitment to veganism (currently vegan or committed to working towards veganism) and knowledge of factory farming are important.=0D=0A=0D=0AIf you are new to outreach but would like to get more involved, this is a perfect opportunity as we have several more outreach opportunities in coming months.=0D=0A=0D=0AI'm seeking volunteers to help table for Bay Area Vegetarians at Berkeley Earth Day on Saturday, April 19.  The event is 12-5 pm in Civic Center Park (at Martin Luther King, Jr. Way and Allston Way, near downtown Berkeley BART).  I'm looking for volunteers for the following shifts:=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A10-12: booth setup (2 volunteers)=0D=0A=0D=0A3-6: handing out literature and talking with stoppers-by; booth take-down (2 volunteers)=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0AOver 150 booths anticipated.  Cultural performers will include Kotoja (West African Highlife) and Vission Latina (salsa). Dance performances by Company C, Contemporary Ballet, NATyA (Classical Indian Dance).
