Yes, there is big grassy area and a Lake.  And lots of yummy Vegan Food!  =0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0APlease see VFP guidelines for more details on what to bring. Basically, a vegan dish that generously provides for 6 people, whatever you need to serve your dish with and a place setting for yourself, plus ingredient list.  If there are two of you, you can bring one dish that serves 12, or two dishes, and so forth.=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0AVFP picnic starts at noon, arrive on time for best food selection!  We'll be there until 3 or 4 or maybe later... You are welcome to bring guests as long as they bring vegan food to share :-)=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0ALocation:  Lake Temescal, Oakland.  Meet at the Broadway Terrace end of the lake.  Look for the green sun tent/canopy.  =0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0AThere is parking at both ends of this lake, but there is a $5 charge.  However, off Broadway Terr. you can park on street in neighborhood and walk down to lake.  You may also park at Broadway end of lake which will require about half mile walk to get to our picnic area.
