There is a separate book club, "Vegan Book Club", that discusses fiction books. =0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0AThis month's selection isCommitted: A Rabble-Rouser's Memoir.=0D=0A=0D=0A "In his new book, PETA Senior Vice President Dan Mathews talks about his colorful crusades on behalf of animals that have landed him behind bars, nearly naked on the campus of Harvard, and even “committed” (the chapter and experience for which the book is named) to an asylum in France. From his poor childhood as a victim of bullies to his notorious friendship with Pamela Anderson, Dan’s stories, in the end, reveal his devotion to a cause that’s as dear to his heart as it is to yours". =0D=0A=0D=0AEveryone is welcome to join us (both veg & non-veg), and we especially encouraging aspiring and new veg*ns to join us. We are a supportive, low-key, and friendly group.
