This is a new monthly dinner series on the 3rd Friday.=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0ASince the first November dinner at Vegetarian Gourmet, our section of the table enjoyed two appetizers, such as scallion pancakes and spring rolls, followed by entrees like an awesome Curry Vegetable dish (variety of vegetables, including my favorite, broccoli, and tofu, in a tasty curry sauce), Family Style Tofu, Vegetarian Ham, Asparagus Chicken, and Chen Pi Vegetarian Beef. All the faux meat dishes also included vegetables, which were cooked just right. The asparagus tasted especially good that nite (very fresh).=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0AEverything was well-seasoned, tasty, and really enjoyable. Some Chinese food tastes oily, but theirs does not. AND -- for the six of us that shared 2 appetizers, 5 entrees above, and brown rice -- all for the whopping low total of $11-12/person (and that included a big tip, too). =0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0APlease see evite if you'd like to sit with the group, or for more info.=0D=0A=0D=0ANote - there is ample street parking (no meters).  FYI, regarding corner parking lot for KELLY MOORE PAINTS directly across the street:  please do NOT park there.  The lot is being monitored and illegally parked cars are being towed -- even after hours when the KELLY MOORE store is closed.=0D=0A=0D=0AIf you can't make this event, there are other monthly dinners happening in SF, Palo Alto, San Jose, Marin, and Oakland.
