    Patti, dear –

Gratitude for the joy, fellowship and inspiration you provide; and most of all,
for the difference you make for the animals.

(The only way I won’t be purchasing your book is by winning it here.)

    With love and admiration,

  3. Rachel Donovan says:

WOW! This sounds great. Unfortunately we have plans that night, so I can’t make it. This book sounds wonderful! I have a few friends who are dead-set against the idea of being vegetarian (aka, a “weirdo”), but they see what I’m eating and how great I’m doing, and they want to be like that, too! Where can I find this book and leaf through it? I’m always looking for veggie info to send them. I want to help them along, without them feeling like I’m trying to “convert” them to something they don’t want to be.

Also, Alicia & Mark, thanks for hosting this event!

  4. Mary Vincent says:

This book looks great. Out of all the recipes, which one or two are your absolute favorites 🙂

    Replies to Mary and Rachel:

The book is available at Amazon.com and any local bookstore can order it. from Ingram, a distributor. The publisher is Lantern Books.

My favorite recipes include Jennifer’s Lentil & Barley soup and the creamy tofu ricotta (for lasagne).

My coauthor loves the chocolate, chocolate, chocolate bread. I may have left off one chocolate!

And my favorite part of the book is the first section: 25 lists to help you think of what to eat for lunch, when there’s nothing in the house, when you are shopping, etc.

    All best,
    Patti B.
