In the real estate market, it’s location, location, location.  The same is true for leafleting.  When you get the right spot, 4 energetic and enthusiastic volunteers like Alex, Kristi, Mark, and Tammy can distribute over a thousand leaflets in less than 2 hours at July’s Have a Heart, Go Veg Leafleting & Lunch activity.

Join caring and compassionate volunteers for the next Have a Heart, Go Veg Leafleting & Lunch activity on Saturday, August 23rd in San Francisco near Powell/Market (easily BART/Muni accessible).  No experience is necessary, just a willingness to help animals and a friendly smile.

Usual Suspects Cafe (SF) closed

Saturday, August 9th, 2008

Usual Suspects Cafe had a very brief but interesting life span in SF.  On May 30th, we announced the newly opened vegetarian restaurant.  Barely a month later, on July 3rd, we issued an advisory to call the restaurant to confirm opening after the original chefs left.  It continued with vegan Russian food.  Now there’s no food, but still open mic.  The Usual Suspects Cafe was definitely an oddity in the history of vegetarian restaurants in the SF Bay Area.
