Harvest Home Animal Sanctuary

Please join Bay Area Vegetarians at the monthly work parties for Harvest Home Animal Sanctuary.

Harvest Home Animal Sanctuary was formed to aid homeless and abused domestic and farmed animals in the San Francisco Bay Area and the San Joaquin valley. They assist local humane societies and rescue groups with animals-primarily farmed animals-who, due to their breed, their health, or their personality, cannot be adopted into permanent homes.

Volunteer activities include cleaning out the barns, grooming rabbits, chopping the pastures, and other old-fashioned fun activities — important work for the health and well-being of the critters that live at Harvest Home Animal Sanctuary. Work days begin at 10:00 a.m. and end at 2:00 p.m.
